FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WILL I RIDE?

All riders will first demonstrate competency in categories such as horse care, horse handling, and tacking before riding. Lots of valuable work and relationship building starts on the ground. Riding will also depend on what the horse is communicating with us that day.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

For your first trip to the barn, you will need closed toe shoes, preferably boots with a heel and clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Make sure to dress for the weather as we will primarily be outside. Riders will be required to wear long pants and a helmet.
